As a pioneer of chronographic technology, Universal Genève introduced some of the earliest chronographs and developed the Compur in the 1930s and the Aero-Compax in the 1940s, pushing the boundaries of what was technically possible in watch design. Their Polerouter, designed by the legendary Gerald Genta in the 1950s, became an iconic symbol of mid-century modernism in watchmaking.
